Again this year we are fortunate to have the hospitality of Roxanne Koepsell and Tom and Mandy McCutcheon for the location of our awards banquet. There will be pick up food and back by popular demand...a delectable selection of sweets made by a wonderful pastry chef, all compliments of SWRHA.

Please join us for cocktails, food and sweets starting at 7:00 followed by the awards presentation.

SWRHA Year End Award Standings

Results for the 2011 SWRHA Year End Awards have been finalized and posted. Please check over the results. We will be ordering the awards Dec. 15 so if you feel that there is a discrepancy that will affect the Champion or Reserve Champion you have until Wed. Dec 14 to let us know by contacting Carla Clay 605-321-1952 or carlaclay@aol.com. After Dec. 14 the standings can not be changed. Note that due to the EHV1 outbreak earlier in the year we did waive the requirement that you must show in 51% of our qualifying shows to be eligible for year end awards as long as you were a member prior to Aug. 1, 2011. Congratulations to all that participated and those who won awards! Please look over the tentative schedule for next year as we have expanded our calendar to include many more shows for both affiliate and year end qualifying as well as a green rider mini circuit.

The SWRHA Stallion Service Auction was a Success, Again!

Because of the generosity of stallion owners who donated breedings to the Southwest Reining Horse Association Online Auction, the Southwest Futurity continues to grow! The SWRHA board and members thank the Stallion Owners and the bidders in this year's auction and remind you that there are still breedings available at half the advertised price! Just contact the SWRHA office to purchase and these are available first-come, first-serve. Call 580-759-2929!

Once again in 2012, the resulting foal of the donated breeding will be eligible for a free entry into the Open Level 4 Futurity or the Non Pro Level 4 Futurity. To be eligible for the awards, the breeding for the donated Stallion must sell.

Successful bidders will be notified by January 3, 2012 and payment must be received by January 10. If payment is not made by that date, sale goes to the next highest bidder.
